Matrix Theatre Company was awarded an Exploration grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation for the Building Demand for the Performing Arts Program. The project aimed to build demand for the arts among young adults between the ages of 25 and 35. Zak Rosen, host of past Radio Campfires at Matrix Theatre Company, took on the role of Lead Artist on this project and has helped Matrix Theatre Company grow the young adult audience base by introducing them to Matrix through fun events such as listening parties, Radio Campfires, and intimate concerts.  Zak also brought two Citizen Journalists on board, whose pieces can be heard below.  Julisa Abad and Christina Perez blew us away with their natural talent.
